Contraceptive Method Characteristics; Expert Roundtable Discussion

  • How do specific features of contraceptive methods (effectiveness, side effects, control over discontinuation, accessibility, etc) affect patients’ decision to adopt a method and their experience of use? Come participate in round tables to discuss how existing and new methods of contraception can meet more people’s needs. Each table will have a discussion and then table representatives will report back to the group.

  •  Attendees of this presentation will learn about preconception and interpregnancy care for individuals of reproductive age with chronic medical conditions. By the end of the presentation, attendees will have an improved understanding of the significant role of non-obstetrical clinicians in providing quality preconception care to individuals of reproductive age.
